As I'm sure everyone can agree, there is nothing like your first Burn. As amazing as every year is after, and how much you learn each time, there is nothing like when it is fresh and new.
I was a part of Kostume Kult, who are a groovy bunch of people whom I will always love and look up to for their wild ways. But no one shaped my first burn as much as the guys and gals from Horny Camp. Some of you I got closer to than others, but it was really the combined energy of the entire group that absolutely amazed me. (I dont think I've ever been so shocked, amazed, awestruck and offended as much as the day I wandered into this camp... LOL)
All jokes aside, outside at BM, sometimes it can be a little overwhelming. Being in Horny Camp was like a breath of fresh air, where you can relax and chill. It really does feel like home.
So I send kudos to everyone of you for making that experience so awesome for me (and kudos to Bajuk even tho she wasnt there, cause she's just the greatest).
I'm totally jazzed to be an official part of the family this year, and am counting down the days until Rites of Passage!!
